New babies

I am delighted to announce the safe arrival of 4 Curl kittens to Aimee on Saturday 27th November. They are feeding well and ears are just starting to curl.

Disney babies are now 16 weeks, we only have Apple (bottom photo) available to a special pet or possibly show alter home.

Ooops!

Our blog is ridiculously out of date so a quick news cap!

Aimee finished the show season as International & Regional Best of Breed American Curl Longhair adult, 4th Best Cat in EW, 2nd Best Longhair Cat in EW and International & Regional Best Red Tabby & White American Curl! Her brother Major also won the Regional Kitten Best of Breed.

Our two imports arrived safely in the country, Piri a Torbie & White SH girl and Ace a Chocolate LH boy. Ace sired his first litter to Disney born on 7th August, they are exquisite! Aimee also feel pregnant to him but sadly had her litter 12 days early, the babies lived for a few hours but just weren't developed enough to survive, we were heart broken. Aimee went back to Ace and we now hope and pray that things go well, there is even more riding on this litter as Ace tragically died on the 12th October 2010. He has left a gaping hole in our home and our hearts.

We hope to mate Piri early next year, she is a very sweet girl with lovely head type and good size ears, she carries the point and LH genes.

The only kitten we have left available from Disney's litter is our gorgeous girly 'Apple' (pictured above) Overear Dontsitundertheappletree. She is a Torbie (Tortie Tabby) and a proper little cutie. She has curled ears and is a touch and purr baby! Serious enquiries are welcomed.

Happy New Year

Well, I seem to have missed December altogether!
Aimee and her younger brother Sword had a very successful show at Spoticats's Christmas Celebration in December. Aimee was given an Allbreed best and finalled 6 times over the whole weekend. Sword was 5th Best kitten overall with 7 finals!
At the banquet I collected Aimee's rosette for 4th Best kitten in the UK a lovely touch from the Spoticat show team who awarded rosettes to the top ten UK cats, kittens and alters.
Christmas has been and gone and now we look forward to what this year can bring, Aimee will be attending the majority of the shows until the end of this season and we just hope that she picks up enough points to become an International Winner.
We will also be welcoming two exciting additions in the first half of the year :-)
Sword, Utah and Omaha are available to pet homes, Sword could go as a show alter.
